Our evolution from day hiking to backpacking begins!! The first item of gear we purchased were our backpacks from Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) yesterday. Darren got the REI Co-op 60 liter pack, and I got them Deuter Aircontact Lite 60 liter plus 10. We tested them out today by walking a couple of miles on the Spanish Moss Trail.
